NRSHD is an extension of the creative anomaly that is me. It's about embracing wellness for the journey that it is, celebrating where we are today and creating the future that we want to see tomorrow. At the end of the day it is about what works for you and what enables you to show up as your most authentic self. Whether you are a frequent visitor or just browsing, my hope is that you leave NRSHD with a little nugget of info or inspo that empowers you to nourish all aspects of yourself.

After more or less of year of barely wearing makeu After more or less of year of barely wearing makeup, I’m refining what’s in my arsenal with @merit — clean, high-performing and accessible products that let your skin breath when they’re on. 〰️ officially live today!

Both the Flush Balm cheek tint and Clean Lash mascara have quickly become my favorites for effortless and minimal look. The mascara is hands down the best clean mascara that I’ve ever tried. No clumping or fall out, even after a full day of wear. The cream blush is light as a feather, easily blends, and also makes a nice lip tint when I’m in a pinch. ✨
So far January is shaping up to be a pretty heavy So far January is shaping up to be a pretty heavy month and I have a funny feeling that it will continue to be. A gentle reminder to take care of yourself when you need it; no act is too big or too small. You can’t go 0-90 if you’ve been running on empty. A few things that have been helping me over the past few months.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Unplug - from the news, social media, doom scrolling, people; whatever it is that keeps you amped and “in it”, give yourself the chance to hit pause and clear some energetic space. If you think about it, when we’re constantly consuming we’re constantly {either consciously or subconsciously} reacting to whatever it is that we are taking in. Taking breaks gives us a chance to get grounded, process, and respond from a more centered place.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
R&R - something that's become even more necessary over the past year. This is especially important if you’re an empath and/or feel others and the world deeply. Prioritizing your energy and emotional needs is not selfish. Take a hot bath, go to bed early, light a candle, read your favorite book, watch a good movie {without your phone}, eat a healthy meal…whatever it is that fills up your tank.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Getting inspired - by something that you love and/or brings you joy. Right now for me, this is getting lost in inspiration for our condo {still on the hunt for dresser/side tables that are 42” wide, 30” high in a walnut finish…holler if you see something!}, but at times is also inspirational quotes, documentaries, books, music, cooking, a chat with a good friend, or a walk in nature. You're the only one that know what lights you up best. xx
